GEM Models of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Yeast)

Saccharomyces cerevisiae is also a particularly suitable organism in which to perform such a study from a number of other perspectives: it is well-characterized genetically, and it can be grown under conditions of continuous culture in which its metabolism can adopt a steady state.

There are also lots of attempts for reconstruction of metabolic yeast model. Due to the availability of curated data, the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a model system of choice for this study for the epigenetic regulations of metabolism.

Because of its importance, we have collected some information based on all available yeast GEM models in the following table.

For each model, you could access to its reference through the GEM Models page.
